Cruise Ship

First, a little theme music:

Now you will be singing that all day!

Since I've been in such a tidying up of loose ends frame of mind, I pulled out my Summer Sampler next. The second motif just needed a few more details to complete:

Those French knots were not for the faint of heart! They are not perfect, but I don't think I can do any better.

The bite out of the left side is for the next motif, the postcard from paradise! That's next, but probably not soon, because I have still more loose ends to finish up. ;)

  1. enjoyed the sea cruise, mind you would not like to be on one as I get so sea sick. Have you tried colonial knots instead of french ones, I find them much easier to do, avoiding the french ones if at all possible.

    1. Thanks, Margaret. I haven't tried Colonial knots yet. The instructions look a little confusing, but I'm sure it is just a matter of doing it. I will keep that in mind!

  2. I have been looking at a river cruise along the Mekong next year, and thought from your header you might be posting from a stitching cruise! You are not wrong about the music. I'm glad the bite is not an iceberg!
The ship looks great in stitching - for my own travel I think I'll look for something smaller!

    1. Iceberg - lol! I didn't know they offered cruises on the Mekong, or in that area at all, really! It sounds interesting, but too hot for me. ;)

  3. I am in serious awe of you, cleaning up projects from your "archives". Hey, but when you're stitching to a tune like "Sea Cruise", it's all a lot of fun. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you! It's a "sea change" for me, to be finishing more than I start! ;)

  4. That's so fun that you set us up with some music first. I'm a big fan of your sticheries and this one is as brilliant as always!!

I'm told Blogger has been bouncing some comments, so if it happens to you I'm sorry! But the settings look right so I can't explain it. In any case, thanks for reading!
