Finishes

In case you missed them, here are all the projects that made it to the end! The most recent one is first. You may click the title to read all the posts on each project.

2017
Cardinal Stars (62" x 62", 158 x 158 cm) -- An original design, started in 2010, revised many times and the subject of various experiments, and finished in 2017.
Hen Party (60" x 60", 153 x 153 cm) -- Started in 2012, finally finished in 2017. All chicken-themed fabrics!
2016
Mod Pillows (20" x 20", 51 x 51 cm) -- Two pillow covers made with the leftover strip sets from Mod Trips, below.
It's Warm Inside (61" x 61", 155 x 155 cm) -- An original log cabin design made with a mix of flannel and quilting cotton.
Tranquil (42" x 49", 107 x 125 cm) -- For my guild's crayon challenge (I got purple), I made a version of Sujata Shah's quilt "Winter," from her book Cultural Fusion Quilts. My colour scheme was inspired by our lilac bush.
Mod Trips (60" x 60", 152 x 152 cm) -- my version of Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy Trips Around the World.

2015
Lots of new projects and a few flimsies, but my only complete, bound finish in 2015 were these two potholders.

2014
Highlands Houses (19" x 19", 48 x 48 cm) -- Inspired by a quilt on the Sweet P blog, I started with an old plaid shirt, made my own paper piecing foundations, took a few wrong turns, and ended up with this little wall quilt.
Cottage Garden Needlebook (6" x 6", 15 x 15 cm)-- The cover design from Inspirations #53, designed by Kris Richards.

Black, White and Read All Over (64" x 64", 163 x 163 cm), also known as Edward's quilt. The design is by Carrie Nelson in her book, Schnibbles Times Two.

2013
Mesa Santa, the first of three Southwest Santa Christmas ornaments from Mill Hill.
Nine Patch Jubilee (54" x 66", 137 x 168 cm) -- My first finished quilt!
Lima Beans (5" x 7", 12.7 x 17.8 cm) -- A cross stitch seed packet design by June Grigg, stitched on 18 ct aida. Theoretically, this is the first of four.

Hexie pincushion, a half scale version of a pattern published in Needlecraft magazine (Issue 75, July 1997). I used 1/2" (13 mm) hexagons for this one.

Juin sampler, a cross stitch and petit point row sampler from Le Bonheur des Dames. Theoretically, again, the first of 12.

2012
Smoky Mountain Santa ornament -- The last of the three Appalachian Santas from Mill Hill

Blue Ridge Santa ornament -- The second of three Appalachian Santas from Mill Hill

Allegheny Santa ornament -- The first of three Appalachian Santas from Mill Hill

Tipsy Tree brooch -- Another quick Christmas project from Mill Hill

Kitten Reflections (5" x 7", 12.7 x 17.8 cm) -- A Dimensions Gold Petites kit, stitched on 18 ct aida in full and half crosses
