That way if one gets dirty, I can still put 3 out.Doloreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00013261733996949731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-777082361967445123.post-12425983311074527492014-01-29T15:35:33.380-05:002014-01-29T15:35:33.380-05:00Great looking placemats and potholders. Even in a dance studio, they don't turn on the music until you know the steps!Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12224346283881001640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-777082361967445123.post-13585901646947927432014-01-27T17:40:44.130-05:002014-01-27T17:40:44.130-05:00What cheerful colours you chose for the placemats ...What cheerful colours you chose for the placemats and pot holders. I can imagine all of the happy meals you will eat from them.

Enjoy the FMQ. I find listening to adagios are the perfect tempo for my quilting; fluid, without being too slow or too fast. The tempo of the music I listen to really does influence my quilting! (Mick Jagger does not a good quilting partner make; at least not for me!) I'm interested to hear what you and your machine dance to. But for FMQ, maybe less thinking and more intuition will be a help. Fun music is the trick to quilting, you can quilt to the beat. I am going to try to use just a couple of layers of regular cotton batting, and see how that works.
